That day that comes

The mind decides and we move
The spirit knows, the inner voice that gently speaks
The body reacts- gauges the decision by its "gut reaction"
But we have ego--and other voices that weigh in--and attachments
And we decide whether to heed the voice
Or postpone it, ignore it, quiet it ...
All choices we make consciously
And regardless of the choice, the body reacts
It speaks, softly at first,
But its voice becomes louder and louder
And one day it screams so loud
That we can't ignore it--
That is destiny's day--
The day our life changes forever ...
And if still ignore it, if we still don't heed the voice
Well then one must prepare for stagnation ...
Or reconnect to the inner voice and resume the path
