Love Conjugations

Love is, was, could have been
it's like a bad conjugation
of the preterite, imperfect, loved or was loving
or the plus perfect, as it were, had loved
and let's not even mention the perfect conditional subjunctive
were that we would have loved?
it's all like a bad lesson in grammar
I am loving would be the progressive indicative
or I would have been loving in the subjunctive
It can all get very confusing ...
much too barren without the verb "to fuck"
maybe it's best to not have loved at all
and start the lesson again.
