seek and you shall find

if it is love we seek, then it is love that we must build on
the sweet courage of the words to claim it
the honesty that feeds the trust to nurture it
the maturity and self awareness to grow it
the closeness and intimacy to reap its fruit
the intensity of feeling that the other brings.

if it is a fuck you seek, then the physical defines it
the posturing to entice the mate
the tacit agreement to the encounters
playing the roles that brings each the pleasures
accepting that closeness is just a necessity to fulfill the pact
the satisfaction of body and the hunger of heart
the knowledge that the body whose warmth we enjoy is just that.
