the heart or just a chemical reaction

heart and mind have their own language, their own rules ... logic can't interfere, can't control, can't fathom ... it can only watch and wonder as the body feels this or that sensation ... as the mind wills its own web ... and we are helpless before it ... we can know this or that and we can reason that this is a result of this or that, but the heart has rules it must obey ... and we can bend our will to do and say and build or destroy and think we're are in control of it all  ... and the heart watches, just like a magnanimous god would its helpless creatures.
