pensamiento nocturno

changes--Do you have a dream?

Hi G---. Do you have a dream? Do you long for certain things in your life and wonder how to make it happen? The Magician is a conjurer. An illusionist. He tells us that things are rarely as they seem and that many limitations are only as powerful as we choose to make them. They are 'illusions'. They key to understanding the message that the Magician brings is to think outside of the box. Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. In many ways, the Magician is saying the same thing. If you are wondering how to reach your goals the Magician is telling you that what you are seeing is not the whole picture. His message is twofold. He tells you that things are rarely exactly as they seem to be on the surface, and he is also telling you that you can change that picture to be whatever you want it to be.

Simultaneously you are planted in this nurturing arena as though you are a well-tended plant yourself, nourished by divine nectar always! ...

Focusing on gratitude

Hi G***. This card indicates being lost in a selfish harm or gain which provides nothing but a fleeting adrenaline rush. Over time, this rush becomes an addiction at others' expense, ultimately your own expense. The Five of Swords consciousness is one of a deeply disturbed heart and very low self-esteem. Not finding the way to contribute to the good of others, nor succeed with integrated service of the heart, you are angry. Your inability to face the anger in yourself toward yourself causes you to feel resentful of others. Your actions and thoughts are aimed at arranging bad fortune for others. It works. You get high on this success, thus making yourself more and more sick over time. At first you are emotionally sick. In time you become physically sick as a result. Your mind is full of lies plus growing hatred. If this doesn't fit you, you likely have a person in your life with this nature. Time to break free from them if you would like to have a healthy life. If they...

Love is the quality of attention we pay to things

J.D. McClatchy writes: A desire can be a vague wish, a sharp craving, a steadfast longing, a helpless obsession. It can signal an absence or a presence, a need or a commitment, an ideal or an impossibility. The root of the word “desire” links it to consider and to terms of investigation and augury, thereby reminding us that desire is often less what we feel than what we think about what we feel. And the still deeper root of the word links it to star and shine, as if our desires, and bright centers of our being, were also like the fixed fates in the heavens, determining the course of our lives. Indeed, our mundane experience of desire often coincides with this sense of something beyond our control, of something confusing, something driving us beyond the bounds of habit or reason. It is the heart of our hearts, the very stuff of the self. Desire explodes past borders of time or law. It drifts through veils of propriety. It cannot be confined by social expectations or strictures. ...

He Follows His Bliss

Hi G****. You arrive at the path of he follows his bliss... Romance, a new love, a marriage proposal, or a venture into the arts may be on the horizon. The Knights are related to the Court Cards and are always on a mission to complete their assignments. The appearance of the Knight of Cups indicates that something is going to change. The change will be unexpected or something hidden will be revealed to you. The Knight of Cups represents you or outside influences: a friend, counselor, mentor, or an open enemy, or someone who wants to court you (a potential lover). The Court Cards represent significant people who enter your life. The Knight of Cups is the young restless traveler who brings change into your life and might leave after the change is initiated. The Court card personalities are complex because they are two-sided and can go from positive to negative in a flash. Highly intellectual, they feel that they're always right. They may be flirty, sarcastic, impatient, fli...

How does a narcissist typically react when ...

How does a narcissist typically react when one of his intended victims stands up to him? Marlene Matlock, former Assistant Professor in Nutrition & Home Economics at California State University, Fresno (1979-1984) Updated Jul 5 I can tell you from my experience of being married 47 years to a mentally disordered Covert NPD/ASPD that when I stood up to him he shocked me with his response. It is called RAGE! A rage is when they get up into you face yelling at you for whatever offense they felt you made. I had no clue what or why he was doing this to me. I told my husband I believed he was not telling me the truth about something. He quickly rushed up to my face in an angry tone and told me, “I have never lied a day in my life!!! Who do you think you are accusing me of lying??? I am not the problem here but I know who is…YOU ARE THE LIAR!!!!” What? I was totally confused and terrified of his behavior which I had never seen ever in our relationship. He was always mellow and chill...

Universal Consciousness

Hi G******. The King of Swords is a mysterious king of an incongruous mixture, not easily understood. His universal connection to the infinite, combined with his mastery of words, makes him enticing. In truth, he is doing a lot of inner work and is often confused by what he finds in himself. He is immersed enough in the clear intended universal that the personal is very perplexing to him. He's often projected onto. People recreate him to be whatever is missing in their own life. He could take on any identity so he doesn't ever seem to fit When the King of Swords appears, you are struggling with the contrast between your deeply wise knowing of all life aspects and your inability to adapt to any societal norm. This allows people to view you in many ways that you do not view yourself. Old soul that you are, with as many lifetimes as you have had, nothing makes sense. You can't fall for any societal illusion though you can articulate all of it. Not an easy road. Who...

gratitude

Hi G-- The imagery on this Five of Cups shows a man staring, probably mournfully, at three spilt cups, while two perfectly full cups stand behind him. This Five can symbolize regret, missing someone, disappointment, guilt, and sadness, but the advice of the card here is to remember the two cups that are full. It's so easy for us to get caught up in things that did not work out the way we wanted them to, and to go over and over in our thoughts what we hoped might occur. We feel powerless towards what actually happened, and feel powerless toward the future about it. Maybe you wanted a relationship to work, but because of the other person, it could not. Maybe you miss someone who is gone. Let's talk about sadness. Nobody likes to feel sadness and pain, and a lot of people don't allow themselves to. They embroider these feelings with hate, with anger. As literary great James Baldwin said, “I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is beca...

cycle of change

Hi G****. The Five of Wands points you towards a path of fighting your way through obstacles, continually struggling to finalize your dreams as you continue your journey through the seventy-eight passageways of growth. This is the level on your continuous cycle of change where you must dig deep within to overcome an unexpected event. This event might make you start over again, but you will not see the beauty in this unsettling experience until a later date. Sometimes we get caught off guard by unexpected events, struggles or the appearance of a 'hidden prophecy'. The beauty is that these struggles make you grow. They could help you connect with the right groups of people, the right relationships, the right job, or the right career. You may not see the beauty in these struggles at the time, but they helped you get to where you are right NOW! Have you ever heard the comments, "no pain, no gain," or "no conflict, no growth"? Examples of a hidden proph...

Change and the Fool

Hi G***. When I think of the Fool I always imagine an innocent soul standing on the edge of a precipice ready to take a leap into the unknown. Some would say this is 'Foolish" hence his name, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we could tap into that positive innocence? That playful, youthful soul that resides in all of us, the one who is unencumbered by doubt, experience, self-imposed limitations, and fear. Life experience can often weigh us down. Whilst wisdom is valuable and rich, some life experiences can leave us avoiding activities and situations that may have brought us pain or ended badly in the past. While we are avoiding making the same mistakes, we sometimes close ourselves off from new experiences and assume that because something ended in a certain way previously, that history is destined to repeat itself if we follow a similar path this time. Learning from mistakes is important if we are to avoid people and situations that hurt us, but its important to re...

The Magician Is Inside You!

Hi G**. Our understanding of the Magician may come from childhood birthday parties. The archetypal Magician takes magic to a different level and lives in everyone. You have innate capacity to work with life artistically. You can receive the benevolent help life offers. You can set intentions for happier manifestations. Receiving life's gifts while clarifying intentions creates positive magic. Balance your will with Universal will for good outcomes. The universe can provide far happier outcomes than what you imagine. When you playfully allow the universe to know your desires, rather than force these desires to happen, life brings bounty. The Magician doesn't wait for life to dictate. He chooses his intentions. The Magician doesn't force life to fit this path. He allows life to transform, then rebalances the design for ultimate good. But without intentions, life cannot recognize your true desire. An intention can be very simple. For example, I intend to experience __...

changes

Hi G--. The Ten of Pentacles is all about the material things that we strive to gain and leave to our children. Family heirlooms, prosperity, relationships and memories. It also represents the house, car, kids, job and vacations, the happy ever after. All things domestic and firmly in the realm of every day life. Security in the material form. The best things in life are free but financial security can certainly make life much easier. This card is about making life more comfortable, striving to be financially free and working to make sure that we can provide for our families. Perhaps you are currently taking stock of all you have achieved and all you hope to achieve going forward. You may be entering into a mortgage or some other financial agreement that secures your future.

the lovers

Hi G--. When I was first learning tarot, I always thought The Lovers meant literally lovers, and love, but have later learned that it is a card that presents itself as choice. When we hear psychic readings, it's easy to get caught up thinking that what we hear is something set in stone when it isn't. We have our own agency, and there are always multiple paths available to us. What we pick up in readings is mainly one path, and one that matches your most current energy. But again, you always have the power at your fingertips to create what you want. You always have a choice to follow and do what you want, because free will is real. Knowing that we have our own power can sometimes be daunting if we don't harness it. And if we find that we are living in troubled times, it's easy to think that maybe someone or some thing can come in and fix everything for us, while we sit and wonder if we'll ever be happy. But, we always have the choice to make things and happi...

and stuff like that

neat boxes, stocked and labelled, piled high-- an infinite repetition of a molded square, a refined pattern of character, nature, thought and disposition an endless inventory of form and its function, one thought spinning in a circular motion, so perfect, that Archimedes would be proud of it. it has become so tangible that it builds and destroys lives-- the dull, humdrum winds of conformity gently fanning the souls of the herd their sleep sound, secured in the reassurance of normality in the immunity of their doctored days from any fleeting ideas while creativity is molded in their sterile classrooms the same lines, the same colors celebrated the same angles replicated all this so that in the end they can participate in the parade of convention wearing boxes on their heads.

What do I want?

Hi G******. The Five of Swords sometimes pops up in a reading to show when someone is angry about something, or feeling defeated. It also denotes selfish behavior. Let's start off discussing selfish behavior. There is the kind where you are being taken advantage of or neglected, and then there is the kind that is necessary to make sure you are doing what's best for yourself. It gets so easy to be caught up in everyone around us, to do what others want us to do, to give to others until we are depleted. This card is a reminder to ask yourself, “What do I want?" Sometimes we forget to ask ourselves this question for so long, that we don't know how to answer it. In that case, start doing research and see what stands out to you intuitively. But regardless, the first important step is asking that one question. Sometimes the true answer means saying no to invitations. All obligations are perceived, and while there are times when you don't want to do something, bu...

Follow Your Heart

Hi G******. This week you may encounter someone who inspires you to follow your heart and express your true feelings without fear or censure. This could be an individual in your life or it could describe qualities that you yourself need to develop. Qualities like love, affection, romance, and emotional expression. The Knight of Cups - whether male or female - is sensitive, caring and kind. While not exactly the proverbial Knight in Shining Armor, this Knight does have a certain romantic sweep-you-off-your-feet vibe. He's ardent and passionate with a lot to say and a colorful way of saying it. He may be “in love with love," in which case he's apt to be better at the hearts and flowers aspects of romance than he is at the nitty gritty. He's known for following his heart — and will go to the ends of the earth to find what he's looking for. As with all the Court cards, the Knight of Cups may be someone presently in your life (or someone resurfacing from you...

For what or whom do you have passion?

Hi G****. The Queen of Swords holds power, but she is feeling kind of lonely. She has inherited a role to play but she may feel awkward about it deep inside. She could be trapped on a path that was imposed rather than chosen. Yes, she is expected to hold the throne. But did anyone ask her if that would be a pleasing job? As Queen, she has become confused about her true desires and needs. Who is this charade really serving? The Queen of Swords is forced to be in a role where people put her on a pedestal, or criticize her, or a bit of both. How much does it really have to do with her? She uses words to maintain her role and the rules she has to enforce on others. Outside she appears to hold a steady, cold, and aloof posture. Inside she is wobbly and uncertain. Her emotions, body and mind are not in alignment. This Queen lives alone emotionally. There is no close friend or genuine mate or child or animal child. There are not abundant phone calls or visits from others who see he...

echo

I have been haunted by an echo A feeling, a sudden desire … It creeps into my dreams And into my idle moments A temptation perhaps Or even a fantasy The currents of the heart always converge No time exists for our senses -- Our memory has no seasons Why, then, do we say goodbyes Why do we fear distances If everything becomes one in our heart?

vigilia

moonshining

why is the moon so lonely? it's not for want of lovers so many stars do dance and twinkle so many of them casting their love spells but she's turned away, alone to wander wonder where to cast her rays. She often hides behind the clouds wanting so to veil her countenance and only peeks from within those clouds to gaze and gaze at her reflection, her eyes fixed on the river's waters she seeks to see her face again the one she hid to find her lover.
