seems to be missing a grammatical component
the "if / then" conundrum--
one does not exist without the other

the referential reference to the answer-keepers
the "then," really, is immaterial
there isn't anything else to say
after one makes such a statement --
all else is conjecture or justification
both to be left untouched
to the referendum of onlookers:
the keepers of the right way to be
one can't judge without redemption
seems like a logical statement to make
or that understanding comes with wisdom-
(or is it the other way around?)
seems like a sensible deduction
that darkness inside isn't dark at all--
just the fear keeping the lights off.
