If thoughts were avenues, corridors to track you down
To meet you in some unsuspecting street
The way by which I could yet touch you
And conquer your heart with more than gazes
If thoughts were indeed places
I would find you every night, every night new
Within my reach to seduce you with these my words
And more than words, the passion that burns deep in me
A love that's more than I can hide
Greater than this one body can contain
The energy by which all dreams sustain

I feel sadness, yet I’m not sad; Absent the sense of your presence That accompanies my loneliness Far into unknown places.
