New Beginnings

The Timing Card

Hi G--. The Queen of Pentacles is related to the Court Cards and they represent you or outside influences: a mother, a woman, counselor, lawyer, best friend, lover, boss, mentor, or even an open enemy.

The Queen of Pentacles is also related to the Minor Arcana and represents your choices and actions throughout the realization of her destiny. The Queen represents the monumental timing card in my deck, and she is connected to the Royal Monarchy of the Tarot. Timing is her job, and this is the reason she holds an abundance of ripe grapes in one hand and a pentacle in the other hand. The grapes represent the Queen’s dedication and hard work related to the harvest of success.

The Queen of Pentacles is numerated thirteen. When you see the number 13, do you think about bad luck, broken mirrors, black cats, and Friday the 13th? The Queen of Pentacles does not represent bad luck, the appearance of the Queen represents a monumental timing!

The Queen is numerated thirteen, and the number 13 is composed of the numbers 1 and 3, which have the sum of 4. The number 1 represents the Magician, which symbolizes new beginnings where all things are possible. The Queens confidence enables her to focus all the attention on the realization of her dreams. The number 3 represents the Empress, a number that denotes motherhood, children, family and security. The Empress is a woman that is social, organized, determined, and able to speak and write with confidence, and she is strong, reliable and serious. The number 4 represents the Emperor, a stable number that denotes security, authority, control, responsibility, and experience.

The Queen of Pentacles represents a woman with confidence, determination, authority, and experience, but also a monumental timing, compliments of the Magician (the planet Mercury), The Empress (the planet Venus) and the Emperor (the planet Mars). A powerhouse of planets, bringing you into a sudden timing of change.

Astrology Note: The Queen of Pentacles is related to the Capricorn zodiac sign (December 21 – January 19), and the three decans in astrology that define the Queen of Pentacles personality. The first decan (responsible), second decan (practical but very persistent) and third decan (disciplined, when she gives her word on something, she follows through). Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, and Saturn makes Capricorn motivated and dedicated).

Pulling another card for you to see what this timing is related too! Drum role… The Strength card comes out, related to the zodiac sign of Leo, and the three decans of Leo that describe the personality. The first decan (loves to be in the spotlight and very spontaneous), the second decan (proud and ambitious), and the third decan (bursts of energy). The Strength card gives you a timing of 1-30 days.

Romance: Strength is connected to the 5th house of the “Natal Birth Chart” and represents everything that you love to do to stay happy and active. After all, this is the house of fun, which represents many things such as: pleasure, happiness, risk taking, romance, dating, love, love affairs, sexual relationships, children, entertainment, gambling, hobbies, talents, sports, and your creativity.

When Strength comes out in the upright position it heralds a time when you are going after a relationship, and everything is moving at a fast pace. If you are in a relationship, you are spending the time to make it work. If you started a new friendship, it may bloom into a committed long term relationship that leads to engagement and marriage.

Remember the fifth house represents good karma. The fifth house rules relationships: your love life, taking risks with dating, romance, love affairs, friendships, dating, sexual encounters, children, and the type of person that you are attracted to and desire.

Work, Career and Money: When Strength comes out in the upright position, it signifies that you may want to negotiate for a raise or promotion because you feel that you have shown that you have the right skills to get the job done, and you know that you are worth the risk.

Strength also represents that you may have interviewed for a new position at another company. You feel that you have the right skills for the role, and the timing is very good. You finally feel that you are in the right place at the right time.

Strength also signifies that you may be thinking about starting your own business, and you are ready to move forward to make your dreams come true.
