just a series of questions

is a dream just a dream, a thought, a memory, a desire the face of love, desires met? is a dream the heart, the soul speaking? is a dream just a stream of images? or the heart, body, soul at work? what happens when two souls meet in a dream?

Quote of the Day

Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. ::George Bernard Shaw

a breakfast miracle

today's breakfast was more than just bread and coffee it was more than the required nutrient-rich protein; this or that thought played itself in preparation for the meal to be my customary habit to go to a happy place when handling food, so well ingrained in me by my grandmother's words "Cooking and eating is like being in church" I never really knew what that meant more so because I never knew how to behave in church except that she always wanted calm, silence, good thoughts and only words about good things when we were eating today's breakfast bread transformed itself the chewy gluten-free bread of everyday became the crusty french-like bread of long ago the one I loved with cheese and butter and always dipped in my Café de leche .

remembrances

Pain always produces logic, which is very bad for you. :: Frank O'Hara i came across frank o's words by pure coincidence "I love you, I love you, but I'm turning to my verses and my heart is closing like a fist." it's hard to come across such words-- for something to lie dormant somewhere, forgotten, is one thing but to conjure it up with words, well, it opens a new dimension a new understanding to see my thoughts splattered on a page, glistening flames of "fire and ice," as some other poet once said indistinguishable from the bright, bright cinder smoldering in my heart the moment has replayed in my head many times over it was summer or spring, fall even i can never remember things in their proper timeline it's all continuous stream that spills over into my dreams and even a future thought it was most likely summer because the words were hot hard, harsh coals burning my eyes, and even felt like new more so as if it was my own consciousness re...

"You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept ... "

a list for choices

It is our choices... that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities. J. K. Rowling choices make noises choices make roots choices have range choices make waves choices spark fires choices have energy choices exert force choices are easy choices are hard choices have odor choices have taste choices create choices destroy choices open & close Nobody ever did, or ever will, escape the consequences of his choices. Alfred A. Montapert

just still

memories of you still dwell in my heart missing you {still surprises me} my body ablaze dreams of desire growing the depth of your eyes your body still awakens desires even your lips but with a new year a new journey, a new day

Today's Quotes

Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart. Marcus Aurelius I can control my destiny, but not my fate. Destiny means there are opportunities to turn right or left, but fate is a one-way street. I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfil our destiny, but our fate is sealed. Paulo Coelho

the word

the word drives the spirit meaning is innate, intrinsic no sound can change the sense read not, write not in the beginning there was the word and the word was good the word creates the word destroys the word builds the word erects anew looking higher, toward the heavens the word is!

Question??

is it possible to seduce and make someone fall in love with you by doing everything their friends have told you they are looking for in mate? what if none of the things you're supposed to do are part of your personality, not in your nature? Do you go on pretending until you trap your prey? ... a wolf in sheep's clothing, as it were .... will it work in the long term? what happens when you can't pretend anymore or when they see through you? will the stay with you regardless? (time invested ... too old to move on to someone else ... etc) would such a relationship be satisfying for both partners? can it be said that such a relationship is built out of fear of intimacy and fear of looking for someone who is a true fit? Lack of self esteem? hmmmm

just a thought ...

Don't let childish statements and/or immature behavior be confused with child-like joy & wonder. The first implies simple-mindedness, lack of imagination or understanding; the latter the is joy of looking at life through fresh eyes.

if there be God

if there be God, how disappointed he must feel sometimes in the solitude of his omnipotence, he must look down upon the souls that wander the earth living a half life always in measures of fear, the lovelessness reeks the pestilence of loneliness driving the spirit the life that could be, could have been, would be, would have been fulfillment, almost happiness, almost love, almost life, almost an almost life that must weigh heavy on the heart of God I wonder if he thinks he has failed as we ourselves see our failures--or not! Does he worry the life that should be an adventure feels like a burden at times? our ancestors must be turning in their graves day and night wanting to drag us by our hearts to the heights of fulfillment the beauty of existence wasted, love is feared regretting the choice that each day we make again and again letting our dreams become vanishing smoke oh, how much God must wail at such a sight!

realizations

the tumult of the heart has been silenced in the awakening realization, energy shifts the spirits stagnant in everlasting repetition "let the dead bury their dead"

a realization, exist

Double, double toil and trouble Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Macbeth Act 4, scene 1 Sunday slips away the echo of Hector Lavoe hitting the walls the tumbling laundry ends the hour between the idle moments, erections come and go the thought of futures past the attraction to the boy across the way his innocence admires something in my manliness the week that comes has ended in my mind the repetition of the hour the realizations of the day make it all worthwhile "to love is never wasted effort" and I repeat it to myself many times over. this one or that one the pain or joy is irrelevant if love be love, then own it in the moment and leave behind the feeble spirits love has no price, nor age nor time when found, it creates its universe with force and energy and light and takes you beyond the senses.

Quote of the Day

"Wait for the one who would do anything to be your everything." True love is not a strong, fiery, impetuous passion. It is, on the contrary, an element calm and deep. It looks beyond mere externals, and is attracted by qualities alone. It is wise and discriminating, and its devotion is real and abiding. :: Ellen G. White Love consists in giving without getting in return; in giving what is not owed, what is not due the other. That's why true love is never based, as associations for utility or pleasure are, on a fair exchange. :: Mortimer Adler

Some thought

If a man loves the soul of another man, he'll end up loving only that one man; but if he just loves the man's body, all the men in the world will not satisfy him.

The Timing Card Hi G--. The Queen of Pentacles is related to the Court Cards and they represent you or outside influences: a mother, a woman, counselor, lawyer, best friend, lover, boss, mentor, or even an open enemy. The Queen of Pentacles is also related to the Minor Arcana and represents your choices and actions throughout the realization of her destiny. The Queen represents the monumental timing card in my deck, and she is connected to the Royal Monarchy of the Tarot. Timing is her job, and this is the reason she holds an abundance of ripe grapes in one hand and a pentacle in the other hand. The grapes represent the Queen’s dedication and hard work related to the harvest of success. The Queen of Pentacles is numerated thirteen. When you see the number 13, do you think about bad luck, broken mirrors, black cats, and Friday the 13th? The Queen of Pentacles does not represent bad luck, the appearance of the Queen represents a monumental timing! The Queen is numerated thirtee...

Passion! Not!

For so many, passion is a big dick attached to an even bigger dick, who pushes you around, takes advantage of you emotionally and financiall, offers little to no emotional support, has little regard for you or your feelings, is a manipulative parasitic opportunist, makes you feel lonely ... but, most importantly, keeps your hole happy!! Ohhh, passion!!

Is Your Partner a Narcissist? Are You?

Psychology Today Is Your Partner a Narcissist? Here Are 50 Ways to Tell. An expert's checklist for gauging where you stand. Post published by Karyl McBride Ph.D. on Dec 30, 2014 in The Legacy of Distorted Love Source: bikeriderlondon/Shutterstock The label narcissist is used loosely these days, typically to indicate anyone who is vain and selfish, but the true personality disorder and its traits run much deeper, and carry long-term debilitating effects for those involved with such people. If you were raised by a narcissistic parent or are in a relationship with a narcissist, you will likely feel more like an object to be used and manipulated to meet the narcissistic partner’s goals or needs. You eventually realize your partner does not see the real you. It is a heart-breaking discovery to realize you have been conned or duped by someone you trusted and loved. Below I'm offering you a checklist to determine if your relationship carries these devastating traits. Remember...

Awake I ask

The tiredness of the empty hour Again the body, as always the heart The moment in a dream reduced to memory The lost erection in the night Desires pitted again desires The inventory of words The ongoing currents in the brain The ghosts in the air we breath The lucid image splashed on the cerebellum The cortex sending traffic signals I have too many questions-- There's so much I dont know And nowhere to put it all.

Time's shadow

sometimes it feels like as wide as the sea that burns the desert sands the wind that takes the seedlings' rain sometimes like today the ocean's depth rests beyond the clouds blown away by the sun's tundra always sometimes never the scent beneath the current drags the fallen leaves sometimes the sparks of memory the broken darkness lights the path the incongruous symmetry of a lost thought burning the hours away. ©Gustavo Gustavo Adolfo

not a love diddy

yeah, not for love, the anticlimactic climax the cock that guides the thought that moves the hand that toils the move to take the needy the many men lost in the desire of their anus mulling over their defeated romances in the darkness their lovers taking apart their bodies strand by strand each thrust takes away all feeling to posses such a creature is no feat, indeed

abandon all hope ye

another friday night day's end befalls a city dressed to move the tired eyes circling wide the narrow sidewalks filled with footprints vague memories of uptown, down, east west faces turn, the longing gaze the gaze of want, of need trapped desire rumbles deeper than love boys lost in the men they inhabit the prison greater than the prize in the snow white slush of their ejaculations lives the loneliest of hearts desperately clinging on to a body that slily shifts away the purring of the hearts that needs to be loved lost in the up and down tumble of the night streets lit by the fear and need to connect the disconnected sounds of the heartbeating spray their essence to the wantom lovers the hands that toil, the wasting body drifting apart the spirit wades drowining in the hope of liberation

something

something there is that breaks not light nor darkness not a want nor need something there is, beyond love fusing the longings desires burning something there is, keeps it growing birth and rebirth the dreams that wake in wants something there is the spring that returns the gardens bloom
