attracting energies (draft)
We often attract people to our life for different reasons--and our connections to different people are based on different energy frequencies ... we may find that we're attracted to some people for their grace, wit, humor, intelligence, sexual appeal, spiritual appeal, emotional state, etc, etc ... and it is often the case that with different people we function at different energy frequencies ... while with some people our interactions fill us with positive energy and we feel elated and we even get a little 'high' from the experience; with others the experience seems lopsided--and by that I mean that while we find satisfaction in one aspect of the interaction, they are so lacking in other areas that at the end of the interaction with them we feel drained, tired and need distance from them ... ultimately these are not fulfilling. Fulfilling interactions are those that energize us, heighten our vibrations and our connection to the divine.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
It is interesting the type of people we attract and at what point in our life we attract them ... I recently went through life changing events--lost job, changed careers, moved, lost friends, family members ... but also gained a lot of spiritual insight ... worked at making lasting spiritual and emotional changes ...
SOME BACKGROUND
last year I went to a retreat of sorts to undergo spiritual cleansing ... it was a very intense experience and I realize that I resisted a lot of the insights I got ... perhaps at that moment I was not emotionally ready to open myself up and be vulnerable ... and that led me to make very stupid decisions and terrible mistakes ... but the changes took place, almost against my will I sadly admit ... but it did not happen immediately ... it took some time and pain for them to happen.
In early November a friend invited me to a her wedding ... again, I was reluctant to go--some fear was keeping me from going but she and her husband insisted and she even asked me to be the wedding photographer ... apparently her photographer could not make it ... so now I had to go ... plus I was the only person, including her family members, who she asked to stay at her home. Everyone else went to motels. She really insisted so that I had no choice but to go ... and I have to say it was the best thing
During the church ceremony I underwent what I call the biggest spiritual cleansing experience in my life. It was on November 9th ... a catholic wedding in a small church. During the ceremony the presence of spirits, of entities was palpable. they were everywhere in the place and created a surreal atmosphere for those few of us at the place who could feel them--among them my friend and one of her sisters. They swear that their mother and some other spirits they did not recognize were there. I am not able to "see" the spirits as they are apparently able to, but I definitely felt their presence and their working on my person. From that they forth I felt as if a cloud had been removed ... coincidentally that is where I got the new job I now have ... which in terms of energy, has turned out to be a group of extremely nice, people ... I almost feel like I'm on a TV show--every one is so nice and helpful and just seem like a group of spiritually evolved people have come together ...
THE POINT
and here is my point ... before that I felt like I was always surrounded by by negative energies and my meditations were difficult ... after that event, my meditations became clear and I even received messages from the spiritual energies, including a very important one on how to return dark energies ...
so we attract the energies that we're putting out ... and we repel incongruent energies, good or bad. After my experience at my friend's wedding and subsequent meditations, I began to not only attract more positive people into my life, but also repel those that were negative energies. I could no longer tolerate negative people or people whose energies were at lower vibrations -- people who were stuck in turmoil--critical, judgmental, resentful, angry, users, etc ... these people I began to avoid ... and, as with the people I now work with, I attracted positive energy. And it's funny -- you see how people who are functioning at a lower negative vibration react to you--they seem to somehow resent you or even throw anger your way and for no reason or feel jealousy toward you -- you feel how their energy frequency drains you ... at the same time though, I noticed the pleasant looks of people, even strangers on the street when they looked at my face ... I honestly feel I am radiating positive energy and people pick that up...
I
also noticed this in the guys I was meeting ... while before I was meeting very sexually charged guys who lacked in emotional and spiritual depth, I was now attracting more balanced guys ... I was attracting sexually charged but emotionally/spiritually developed guys and the experiences with these guys were more pleasing. I didn't feel like a piece of meat--just being used for the momentary pleasure, even if it was mutual pleasure ... the experience was more fulfilling--fleeting as it may have been ... too bad I have not been able to connect with these guys at a deeper level ... at the level that I want and find bot emotionally, intellectually and spiritually and sexually fulfilling--my ideal for a partner!!
So now I am at a point where I am moving forward and reassessing life based on this new understanding ... satisfaction in life comes from being surrounded by people who are in a loving vibration ... simple as that
