Perspectives
Perspectives .... It's easy sometimes to get lost in our own mind ... Thoughts flowing creating feelings that drip away here and there--- sometimes the flow is such that it requires a good amount of our energy ...
And we can go on with our life building dams to keep the stream from flooding our life .... Sometimes we foolishly use others to help us keep the dam from spilling over our carefully crafted, precarious life fearing it will be drowned away when in fact those others are really needed to provide support when when let the dam walls break;
And sometimes that is exactly what we need to do. We need to open the flood gates to regain balance and live a more emotionally sustainable, joyful life ... We need to let all the old patterns we have build to sustain a precariously unhappy, unfulfilling life fall apart and break in order to achieve the happiness and love we seek.
Living afraid to face our demons, afraid to make radical changes, even if it means facing a bit of loneliness and sadness, is the same as living in a prison --- worse yet than a prison since it eats away at our spirit ... And our life becomes nothing more than a slow death of the spirit ... And all the parties and trips and sex in the world will in no way placate our deep sadness and longing for more than just existence.
