a me and a you in dreams

in my dream of dreams, awake or asleep
there is a you that seems intent on staying

in the dream that was my dream last night
that you was talking to a me and it was home

and within the dream there were all sorts of things
a field or force that tied it all together

and there's been so many dreams like this one
where there's a you and a me and it feels like home

just like that one time where it was you and me and not a dream
the few days I wish had not ended, the only time I knew home
