New Year's List

"Faith is the belief that the best is yet to come; fear is the death of faith -- it's to live as if buried alive."

Another year starts .. have had time to reflect on how I want to move from here on ...  what things to pursue, what things to take with me, and especially, what things to leave behind on my journey ...

Practice forgiveness

Be grateful for all people and things that are good in my life

Be compassionate to those around me

Pursue honesty in all relationships: be honest with myself and with other and expect no less

Bring back joy and passion to my life: pursue the things that bring me joy; seek fulfilling, passionate relationships and romance

Leave fears behind and those who create it ... life is good ... what is there to fear?

Cherish those people in my life who are open and joyful and and passionate and who I can grow with in this journey ... who are open or are willing to be open to life and passion and new experiences ...

Break unhealthy ties

Break away from things that no longer work and from people who create darkness in my life

Not be afraid to leave half truths behind

Consciously engage in a discipline that will keep me focused in this pursuit ... whether meditation, writing, reading, yoga ... so that I do not lose sight of my goals.
