last night i dreamed a desire
the flesh on fire

the wanted view of the heart's wishes
induced a sleep beyond the rhythms

i chased my beloved into the darkness
to feel the joy deep in his manliness

i wanted nothing more than give him kisses
to give him pleasure, to heed his wishes

and in this dream my soul awake
to chase the the love for which i ache
