It's a night of echoes
So many i know i won't fall asleep
And the night will glow with the fullmoon shining
Short, or perhaps just too long
Before twilight finds me waking again
From a slumber that never was
It's a night of shadows
that bounce against these walls of mine
So fine, like spider webs
And yet so strong they keep the rumbling in
Or out, I can't always tell
It's a night, those that linger in the palate
Like the strongest of drinks
Smooth yet burning their way in
A night of eternal instants
One only those who do not care about time
Can appreciate
I mighy just let the night drag me along
Silently, no words to comprehend
The theater of memories closed.
